Bone Owl FrameThrift store frame, book page from books I have hollowed out, squirrel bones (ribs, leg, foot, and others) from an animal killed by an unfortunate interaction with a car (roadkill), two wood beads from the bead collection I've had as long as I can remember. Each of those is a separate, tiny bone that I carefully glued into the owl image. This took a very long time but turned out wonderfully. It was given to an owl photographer friend for Christmas.

Bob's Burgers Family PortraitPainting done on a cupboard door a friend found on the side of a road with me in mind. (I have some wonderful friends.) It was unstained, so I stained the frame part and covered with a clear lacquer. Acrylic paint I've had since high school. This took a very long time to finish I have to be honest. It was one of my first attempts at a larger scale painting. The actual cartoons I drew onto the wood based on a picture I found online. The background is 100% original. Sold this beauty to a friend who gave it to his wife for Christmas.

Canvas found in thrift store, frame found in a dumpster, paint I've had since high school.An old friend has been asking me to paint some very unique and one of a kind pieces for his girlfriend for Christmas each year. In 2017, he asked for a piece for her parents. They are the proud owners of men's and women's matching Schwinn (trying to find the actual model name) Cruisers which were special order only and are serial numbers 3 and 4 (1 and 2 having been kept by the Schwinn company's president at the time). They love to ride these beautiful bikes in Lanesboro, MN, and the bridge and water tower pictured are two places that mean a lot to them. I had a blast painting this, although now that I'm looking at it I would have rethought the trees...

Jute Rug & ProcessJute found in a thrift store, fabric for the bottom found in a dumpster, put together with hot glue.These pictures show parts of the process and the end result. This took a very long time to make, but I love how it turned out. This particular one is not for sale since it is in my entry, but if you love it I could certainly make one just for you!

Upcycled Crystal Window BlingBecause I am always collecting random things, I had a pile of crystals and decided to hang them from a piece of drift wood with fishing line and here is what came of it. It hangs in our bedroom window and creates hundreds of rainbows each morning.
